From the moment I shot my first hand-me-down camera at the age of eight, I've been captivated by the power of photography. Having had the privilege to travel and photograph from a young age, I grew up perceiving the world through a lens, searching for composition and details. Many of the photos on this site are a product of travel, both domestic and international, as I continue to learn through the lens.
The act of photographing, of capturing snapshots in time, has allowed me the opportunity to appreciate the beauty, complexity, and intricacies of the natural and living world around me on a much more intimate level. My studies in colonial legacies and environmentalism in college have further fueled my passion for using my photography to highlight issues and topics that often go unnoticed, such as environmental and indigenous justice, as well as sustainable food systems.
When I'm not behind the lens, I enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoors. And fun fact: I'm a huge fan of movie soundtracks, I love how music can transport us to the worlds of our favorite films!
